During these unprecedented times all of us here at Leaps N Bounds are doing everything we can to support and meet the needs of our families. Safety and care are our priorities. We are following the CDC guidelines for daycares and the guidelines from the Office of Early Childhood, State of Connecticut. Welcome to Leaps N' Bounds CCS Center!
Our goal is to provide a program that will facilitate the healthy growth and development of all the children in our center. Our concentration is in the creation of an atmosphere where each child can develop:
Emotionally - By gaining a positive self-image
Socially - By learning how to get along with others
Physically - By learning to care for oneself and by developing muscle coordination
Intellectually - By encouraging a deepening curiosity and love of learning
Spiritually - By inspiring a sense of wonder
The Leaps N’ Bounds program should be viewed as an extension of each child’s family. Teachers and friends become an important part of the extended family. Our philosophy is simple; each child is an individual with unique qualities. With that in mind, our program is designed to enhance self-esteem and develop strong independence in our children. They will learn through interactive play, independent thinking and decision making, carrying out of daily activities for one and one’s peers, as well as outside sources that will provide special attention in the areas of music, art, physical education.
